I shrink myself. Always have.
I create something amazing or accomplish some crazy goal and shrug it off like whatev. I’ve learned to step into my own spotlight - one that I created. I realize that I have so much to offer the world and I’m not holding back any longer.
What people think is none of my business.
If you’ve ever felt like this, I hope you comment because we need to talk about this. I know I’m not out here on an island. Here’s the deal...humans have over 60k thoughts a day. SO WHAT if your thing occupies 1/4 of that? That would probably mean that your thing would come before thoughts about their family, job, money, schedule...not likely. So what’s the WORST that could happen by someone thinking about you or having a strong opinion about your work?
+ Don’t be afraid.
+ Get out there.
+ There is never a “right time.”
+ No one has what you can offer the world (there’s only one you)!
Fear is a natural part of the creative process, but you have to learn to climb that mountain (cuz the mountain will always be there). Let’s have a convo about something we’re proud of despite being terrified. #diditanyway
