Here are some of the ways that we give back...
THE TRA EXPERIENCE
This program is designed to allow one dance team to experience working with a professional choreographer, free of charge. This project is important because not all teams are able to hire out- and if they are, this program allows them to use the funds toward something else they may need to succeed. We are looking for teams who help their community and strive to achieve. Teams enter win via video submission, each February. Congratulations to TATES CREEK HIGH SCHOOL, the 2017 TRA Experience winner!
CHARITABLE DONATIONS
TRA supports the work of the Chicago Children's Advocacy Center by attending the Luminary Awards Dinner and donating free dance classes. ChicagoCAC responds to reports of child sexual abuse as part of a multi-disciplinary team of experts. They investigate alleged abuse, conduct forensic interviews, provide family advocacy, reduce trauma and identify resources so that children and families may begin the healing process.
